The walking tour of Berlin ws probably the best 10 Euros and 10 hours I spent in Europe. Such a fascinating history. Heartbreak at every corner.



Ugly East Berlin Parliament

This was once the biggest Gallery in Europe. The building was knocked down and this monstrosity took its place. The only parliament with a Bowling Alley. There was talk of opening this up to tourists as a museum to the failed Communist experiment. Then they found asbestos throughout the eyesore and its future has been under question ever since.


Soviet Tank - Berlin

It was Soviet Remembrance day. We saw some neo-nazis spitting on the Soviet Memorial.
